This Pilot Project Program, with $80,000 in total costs, seeks to support small, innovative studies that catalyze new NIH grants on the biological mechanisms of Soft-Tissue Manipulation (STM) interventions. The program encourages conceptually novel projects and technological advancements, focusing on areas such as basic research on social touch and STM effects, instrument and model development for measuring soft tissue dynamics, and multiscale studies on various cell types and systems. Submit applications in PDF format to [email protected]. Pre-applications are due by May 6, 2024, and full applications by July 1, 2024, both by 11:59 PM local time. Recommendations for funding will be announced on August 5, 2024, with funding starting by February 1, 2025.
Funds trainees, early-stage investigators, and underrepresented minority researchers to present their network-relevant research at society conferences.
The NeuronS_MATTR Network offers up to $3,000 for 1-8 week residencies to foster new skills and interdisciplinary research in neuroscience, physiology, engineering, and clinical sciences.
We're working with the NIH on several grant opportunities at the intersection of neuroscience, engineering, physiology, and manual therapy. In the meantime, please check out these funding opportunities with these two other U24 networks: 1. ForceNET U24 network 2. SPINE-WORK U24 network 3.
